Like the teacher said there is so many throws in karate and they are barely thought, and the way he explained gaining side control and working from angles than using a choke or throw, even arm lock or brake in self-defense situation is what is not being thought much anymore but few schools.

Don’t know why they posted a video that isn’t up yet, but if you think about it, there are right ways and wrong ways to pick things up. Karate and age don’t have much to do with it. In fact if every 60 year old karate practitioner can’t do this, it has nothing to do with Karate.
